The last text
She had typed:
"I don't think I can do this anymore."
But she never pressed send.
The message sat there.
Unsent.
Invisible to everyone except her.
To the outside world, Emma looked fine.
She had a good job.
A nice apartment.
Friends.
A smile.
But inside...
She was exhausted.
Not physically.
Emotionally.
For months, she had been carrying stress, anxiety, loneliness, and fear without telling anyone.
She kept saying:
"I'm okay."
Even when she wasn't.
That night, she sat alone in the dark scrolling through her phone.
Then she found distressperson dot com
She started reading stories from people who understood what it felt like to struggle silently.
People who felt lost.
People who felt overwhelmed.
People who needed someone to listen.
For the first time in a long while...
Emma felt less alone.
She deleted the unsent text.
Not because all her problems disappeared.
But because she realized something important:
There were people who cared.
There was hope.
And there was another tomorrow waiting for her.
Sometimes the strongest thing a person can do is reach out before giving up.

You are not alone
